First: My five weeks at the excavations have ended (two weeks ago)! Resuming everything I can say: I´m extremly happy to have found the guts to ask for a place. I learned a lot about practical archaeology, techniques, the roman and germanic world, fell in love with this amazing landscape (The Harz-mountains and surroundings ) and got to know a bunch of great people! The only downside is that I caught a stupid tick and that I still have a strained sciatic. But I´m glad nevertheless! I know I should have uploaded some pictures long ago, but I was busy these days. Second: I´m leaving for Cambridge tomorrow!!! Strangely I´m not excited right now, but I know myself, so tomorrow I´ll be a nervous wreck sure enough. University starts on Tuesday, so me and my fellow student from Hamburg will have lots of time to explore the town and most important: the museums!XD And of course a trip to London and the British Museum is also planned (been there once but once is never enough!)!XD Can´t wait!
